Dyeing skin colors/flesh tones

Anyone out there have any good recipes they'd like to share on skin tones. I'm wanting to use procion dyes. I'd also really appreciate a picture of your results if you have any.

I found a link here. I'm wondering if anyone has much success in this area.

Have you checked Paula Birch's site? I think it would be had to beat Melissa's info though.

This just came up on a list I am on. The color "chino" by Prochem was suggested. It was suggested to do a color run of six or seven shades, then add a small amount (1/32 tsp)chocolate brown, do a run. Then the same thing with golden brown and peach - which should give you a lot of variety. HTH! Let me know if you have any questions.

Hi Joanna
I don't know if it's still available but the last time I created a pinky skin tone I used Procion Rubine,at a VERY high dilution, but my memory seems to think it may not be available any more. I will check my dye notes later for any futher info.
Thanks for dropping by my blog, glad you found the post interesting.
